Are you a detail driven accounting professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic finance environment? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take ownership of recording, monitoring, and reconciling transactions across EGI’s general ledger, with a strong emphasis on cash account accuracy and integrity. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining essential processes and schedules that support the General Accounting team, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence in our financial operations. We look forward to hearing from you! What you will do: Preparation of month end closing entries. Preparation of monthly/quarterly account reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions recorded. Follow up with the relevant Finance teams and / or transaction initiators to identify and resolve any reconciling items. Ensure controls and processes are properly maintained and SOX compliance is achieved. Ongoing support of ad hoc requests. Who you are: You have: Limited experience along with a University Degree (Business or Accounting preferred) You can: Work successfully independently or within a team environment while showcasing excellent problem solving and analytical skills Work occasional overtime and be available for month end, quarter end and year end requirements You are: An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills who also has good time/project management abilities A strong user of the Microsoft Office suite of products Working Conditions: Work performed in typical office environment where travel may be required (approximately 5% of the time) Must be open to work on call for one week approximately every 8 weeks Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
