Overview

The Senior Manager, Installment Lending (12-18-month cross-train) is a critical role responsible for driving top and bottom line growth via multiple lending products and solutions. This role has a diverse remit that includes strategy, relationship management, product management, acquisition, customer management, campaign optimization, analytics and P&L oversight. You will lead a team of 3 while managing our Personal Loans, Business Loans and Plan It products.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Results – Grow the bottom line.

  • Continue to accelerate Originated Accounts Receivable and Finance Charge Revenue across Personal Loans and Plan It.

  • Optimize Loan and Installment marketing campaigns across multiple channels and multiple segments.

  • Lead with outcome-oriented mindset while ensuring operational excellence.

  • People Leadership – Lead and empower 3 direct reports.

  • Support the growth and development of your team.

  • Lead with integrity to create a high functioning team who have a continual eye for flawless execution and future opportunities.

Product Management – Champion non-card lending solutions with end-to-end lifecycle ownership.

  • Facilitate ongoing refinement of customer journey, positioning and messaging to enhance margins and product adoption.

  • Enhance risk management through development of incremental controls and processes.

  • Manage the wind down of our Business Loans product and third party relationship that supports it.

  • Drive education of Loans and Plan It across the enterprise while supporting customer escalations.

Drive Results – Relationship Management – Cultivate strong relationships with partners across the enterprise.

  • Partner with Lending Centre of Excellence and Risk to implement initiatives impacting bottom line growth and customer journey.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholder groups including Legal, Compliance, Control Management, Finance, Product, Customer Management and Acquisition to find win-win outcomes.

  • Manage third party relationship with Business Loans partner.

  • Turn Analytics into Action – Leverage internal and external data to refine product strategy.

  • Lead business planning for portfolio including forecasting, investment optimization and technology prioritization activities.

  • Anticipate current and future customer needs as well as competitive offerings.

  • Translate external influences (regulatory, technology, economic & consumer behavior into opportunities or threats.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience:

    • Relationship management and influencing across a diverse group of stakeholders.

    • Product and/or channel management.

    • People leadership.

    • Driving results against top and bottom line metrics.

    • Selecting, reviewing and analyzing data related to business performance and planning (e.g. financial data, forecasting, funnel optimization, investment optimization).

    • Managing omni-channel marketing campaigns.

This will include:

  • Ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously.

  • Strength in organizing teams and meeting deadlines.

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

  • Proactive ability to anticipate risks and issues and ensure adequate mitigation is put in place.
