You might be surprised by the depth and intricacies of various flows implementing the diverse business logic used by thousands of different gyms and wellness businesses.</p> <p> <strong> <strong>What’s the tech stack?</strong></strong></p> <p>Our main web-application is built on Zend Framework, with server-side rendered templates, MySQL for data persistence, and jQuery for frontend interaction. We are increasingly moving towards an API-first design, and make heavy use of Symfony components within our existing ecosystem. Our mobile app is built with Flutter for cross-platform deployment.</p> <p> <strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>6+ years of professional software development experience</p> </li> <li> <p>4+ years of experience with PHP-stack development</p> </li> <li> <p>Demonstrated ability to make an impact as a senior contributor on an engineering team</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficient with at least one popular PHP MVC framework (e.g. Symfony, Laravel)</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of client side technologies for the modern web</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with classic JS libraries such as jQuery and jQuery UI</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to design efficient database schemas and queries for MySQL</p> </li> <li> <p>Intimate familiarity with software development best practices and design patterns</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication in English</p> </li> </ul> <p> <strong>Compensation</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>This is a full-time, 40-hour a week role</p> </li> <li> <p>Annual salary of $150k-$200k depending on location, skills and experience</p> </li> <li> <p>Health insurance (available in the US, Japan and certain other countries through our PEO)</p> </li> <li> <p>Enrollment in 401k (US only)</p> </li> <li> <p>20 PTO days annually, in addition to national holidays in your country</p> </li> </ul> <p> <strong>Hiring Process</strong></p> <p>If you’re excited about creating software that looks beautiful on the frontend and elegant on the backend, give us a shot.
